Winning Film
Jessica Woodfield, Becky Hill, Eleri Morgan and Charlotte Woodfield from St Cyres School in Penarth are the winners of the Survival Rivals Competition. The students produced the film above titled “Bacteria: the Future” where they explain to Darwin how science has progressed since the publication of “On the Origin of Species” and show him evolution in action using the X-Bacteria kit. The students went on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Galapagos Islands in October 2010. Find out all about their trip in their report

These schools will receive a film-making workshop from Science TV along with £650 worth of film equipment.
